Kimberly Kay Jackson visited a Fort Worth Salon, Angel Nails, for a pedicure last July, when her foot was cut with a pumice stone. She developed an infection that did not heal despite medication. She died in February of a heart attack triggered by a staph infection. Now her children are suing the salon, Angel Nails and its owner for unspecified damages. The lawsuit alleges that the salon did not follow state regulations for disinfecting the whirlpool and instruments.
