Mary Stewart, 72, had to have her foot amputated after an 18-day-stay at Renova Health Center resulted in maggot infestation. Stewart sued the nursing home and its parent company, Universal Health Management. A Palm Beach County Circuit Court jury awarded her about $1.3 million in damages.
