DLA Piper made a recent announcement saying Kevin Finger and Jeffrey Torosian, both former co-chairs of Greenberg’s Traurig litigation firm, will be part of their law practice as Chicago partners.
Finger will be focusing his practice in bankruptcy and civil litigation, white collar issues, and corporate compliance. He’s also representing hedge funds, directors, officers, and major corporations. Just recently, he became the lead counsel in a multi-billion dollar proceeding regarding massive scale corporate bankruptcy.
Meanwhile, Torosian will be handling commercial issues regarding corporate transactions, focusing on acquisition disputes and corporate governance matters. He has taken part in litigation cases and arbitrations in multiple states in the U.S.
Finger represented major corporations and workers in government probes and made and deployed corporate compliance programs.
Torosian will also focus his practices on private equity litigation, fraudulent claims, bankruptcy lawsuits, inside trading litigation, shareholder disputes, and M&A issues. He’s frequently involved in arbitration and mediation proceedings with multiple agencies.
He gained his JD in Pepperdine University School of Law and received his BA from the University of Chicago.
